The Book of Jubilees: Part 18 & 19(Lesser Genesis)

Hi, and thank you for joining me at 144Judah!  "The Book of the Jubilees" which is also known by some as "Lesser Genesis" is a very interesting book as it gives us more background and how the background was given. We learned in part one that Moses received this word on Mount Sinai from an Angel/Malek (Messenger) of the LORD, in the second chapter, we learn about what God created and on which days...and we also learn that God's Chosen People: ISRAEL are to keep the Shabbats. To not do so is to die. Yesterday, we learned that Adam and Eve were cursed for taking from the tree in the middle of the Garden, then we go down the lines until we hit Noah and his family and learn that there were a lot more people born of Adam and Eve then we have heard of in Genesis. After this, Noah gets into the Ark and the waters begin to rise; and the world completely changes and we are given our calendar. 13 weeks between each change of the season. 4 Divisions. Each start at the Observance of the New Moon. 364 Day calendar! As Noah commands his son about the observances and of what he sees of his own children and how they have been fighting and their children aren't doing what they are supposed to, Noah tells them that he worries that they will be taken care of by God...and not in a good way, which leads us to the sons of Noah dividing their inheritance (the earth) by using lots. We learn of the land which they decided upon, and Noah is overjoyed because of a prophecy that he had spoken about Shem and The Almighty God blessing him. Who are Shem's people -- eventually? The Sons of Jacob...The Twelve Tribes... ISRAEL. And in the 9th Chapter, Noah has his son's swear an oath that when they divide their land to their sons, that none of them will try to take any of their brothers' land. What happens if they do? Cursed... which brings us to Canaan and how he stole from Shem's lot... which makes a lot more sense as to why Canaan is The Land of Milk and Honey and how it is The Promised Land of God's Chosen People through Shem's line. Then we come to Babel, and the son's language have now been confounded...and the people who once spoke Hebrew are no longer. Things are far away from The Most High God now, and the land has now gone from being divided between Noah's son's sons to Ham's son Canaan, taking Shem's land. So...we now are seeing the line that leads us down into Abram (Abraham) who we learn loves God and has learned basically what not to do from his father's example. And the coolest part? God speaks to him and Abraham listens! God chooses him because Abraham chose God and God reveals to him the language of Hebrew, and now Abraham has been given his fathers books... what books you say? Oh, just the ones that Noah scribed... And guess what? Nobody has been able to read the language for many years. So, this all fits with the other book that I have been reading "The Book of Formation" Serif Yetzirah... After favoring and blessing Abraham, God shows him everything that he can see and tells him that this land and all of it is his and his people's. He is the Father of All Nations! So, now we learn that Lot, his nephew, has been taken, and Abraham leaves to go get him. Which brings us to Abram having a vision and a promise that he will father a child, that he will have many. God shows him that his people will be strangers in a strange land for 400 years...which brings us to the circumcision and the importance of it and what it means to get it and not get it. This is the torah...We see in 16 that Abraham will not pass away until after he sees all of his children born (6 more sons) after Isaac. We also learn that all of those children of Abraham will be gentiles....all but Isaac. In Isaac is the Holy Kodesh...seed... At the end of 17, the demon prince wants Yahweh to ask Abraham to offer Isaac as a sacrifice to see if he will do it or not... This is a whole Job situation here...and now we have made it to the 18th and 19th chapter.

Once again, my commentary on this is in BOLD. :) Enjoy!  This is copied from online sources as it is FREE for all. This book was taken out by almost all mainstream bibles. I use the KJV and it was removed by the Nicean Council. More on that later.

The Book Of Jubilees Chapter 18

Abraham is tried; he offers up Yitschaq his son on  Mount of YAHWEH

1, And YAHWEH said to him, 'Abraham, Abraham'; and he said, ‘Behold, here am I.'

2And he said, ‘Take your beloved son whom you love, even Yitschaq, and go unto the high country, and offer him on one of the mountains which I will point out unto you.'

3 And he rose early in the morning and saddled his ass, and took his two young men with him, and Yitschaq his son, and clave the wood of the burnt offering, and he went to the place on the third day, and he saw the place afar off.

4 And he came to a well of water, and he said to his young men, 'Abide you here with the ass, and I and the lad shall go yonder, and when we have worshipped we shall come again to you.'

5 And he took the wood of the burnt-offering and laid it on Yitschaq his son, and he took in his hand the fire and the knife, and they went both of them together to that place.

6 And Yitschaq said to his father, 'Father;' and he said, 'Here am I, my son.' And he said to him, 'Behold the fire, and the knife, and the wood; but where is the sheep for the burnt-offering, father?'

7 And he said, ' YAHWEH will provide for himself a sheep for a burnt-offering, my son.' And he drew near to the place of the mount of YAHWEH.

8 And he built an altar, and he placed the wood on the altar, and bound Yitschaq his son, and placed him on the wood which was upon the altar, and stretched forth his hand to take the knife to slay Yitschaq his son.

9 And I stood before him, and before the prince Mastema, and YAHWEH said, 'Bid him not to lay his hand on the lad, nor to do anything to him, for I have shown that he fears YAHWEH.'

10 And I called to him from heaven, and said to him: 'Abraham, Abraham;' and he was terrified and said: 'Behold, (here) am I.'

11 And I said to him: 'Lay not your hand upon the lad, neither do you anything to him; for now I have shown that you fear YAHWEH, and have not withheld your son, your first-born son, from me.'

12 And the prince Mastema was put to shame; and Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold a ram caught by his horns, and Abraham went and took the ram and offered it for a burnt-offering in the stead of his son.

13 And Abraham called that place 'YAHWEH has seen', so that it is said YAHWEH has seen: that is Mount Zion.

14 And YAHWEH called Abraham by his name a second time from heaven, as he caused us to appear to speak to him in the NAME of YAHWEH.

15 And he said: 'By Myself have I sworn, saith YAHWEH, Because you have done this thing, And have not withheld your son, your beloved son, from Me, That in blessing I will bless you, And in multiplying I will multiply your seed As the stars of heaven, And as the sand which is on the seashore.

16 And your seed shall inherit the cities of its enemies, And in your seed shall all nations of the earth be blessed; Because you have obeyed My voice, And I have shown to all that you are faithful unto Me in all that I have said to you: Go in shalom.'

17 And Abraham went to his young men, and they arose and went together to Beersheba, and Abraham [2010 A.M.] 18 dwelt by the "Well of the Oath". And he celebrated this festival every year, seven days with joy, and he called it "The Festival of YAHWEH" according to the seven days during which he went and returned in shalom.

19 And accordingly has it been ordained and written on the heavenly tablets regarding Yisrael and its seed that they should observe this festival seven days with the joy of festival.

(So, what do you think of this? I know we have already talked about this part when we were doing Genesis, but it has bothered me in one way...this time... that it was all basically a bet between a demon and God. God knows everything and He knew that Abraham would choose him, but what bothers me the most is that we have to deal with entities like this demon in the first place. When the fear sets in, we get burned...God will be there for us ALWAYS...it's our fears that get in the way. Would you be able to go up on that mountain and set your kid on fire? Just trust that it wouldn't have to be that way that Yahweh would find another sacrificial lamb instead? This is hard. )

The Book Of Jubilees Chapter 19

Sarah died in Hebron and Abraham mourns over her

1 And in the first year of the first week in the forty-second jubilee, Abraham returned and dwelt opposite Hebron, that is Kirjath Arba, two weeks of years.

2 And in the first year of the third week of this jubilee the days of the life of Sarah were accomplished, and she died in Hebron.

3 And Abraham went to mourn over her and bury her, and we tried him [to see] if his spirit were patient and he were not indignant in the words of his mouth; and he was found patient in this, and was not disturbed.

4 For in patience of spirit he conversed with the children of Heth, to the intent that they should give him a place in which to bury his dead.

5 And YAHWEH gave him free unmerited favor before all who saw him, and he besought in gentleness the sons of Heth, and they gave him the land of the double cave over against Mamre, that is Hebron, for four hundred pieces of silver.

6 And they besought him saying, We shall give it to you for nothing; but he would not take it from their hands for nothing, for he gave the price of the place, the money in full, and he bowed down before them twice, and after this he buried his dead in the double cave.

7 And all the days of the life of Sarah were one hundred and twenty-seven years, that is, two jubilees and four weeks and one year: these are the days of the years of the life of Sarah.

8 This is the tenth trial wherewith Abraham was tried, and he was found faithful, patient in spirit.

9 And he said not a single word regarding the rumor in the land how that YAHWEH had said that He would give it to him and to his seed after him, and he begged a place there to bury his dead; for he was found faithful, and was recorded on the heavenly tablets as the friend of YAHWEH.

10 And in the fourth year thereof he took a wife for his son Yitschaq and her name was Rebecca [2020 A.M.] the daughter of Bethuel, the son of Nahor, the brother of Abraham the sister of Laban and daughter of Bethuel; and Bethuel was the son of Melca, who was the wife of Nahor, the brother of Abraham.

11 And Abraham took to himself a third wife, and her name was Keturah, from among the daughters of his household servants, for Hagar had died before Sarah. (So, this is different...nowhere does it say that she died before Sarah that I can find, but here it is...) And she bare him six sons, Zimram, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah, in the two weeks of years.

12 And in the sixth week, in the second year thereof, Rebecca bare to Yitschaq two sons, Yacob and Esau, and [2046 A.M.]

13 Yacob was a smooth and upright man, and Esau was fierce, a man of the field, and hairy, and Yacob dwelt in tents.

14 And the youths grew, and Yacob learned to write; but Esau did not learn, for he was a man of the field and a hunter, and he learnt war, and all his deeds were fierce. (This makes more sense as to why Jacob gets the blessing)

15 And Abraham loved Yacob, but Yitschaq loved Esau.

16 And Abraham saw the deeds of Esau, and he knew that in Yacob should his name and seed be called; and he called Rebecca and gave commandment regarding Yacob, for he knew that she (too) loved Yacob much more than Esau.

17 And he said to her: My daughter, watch over my son Yacob, For he shall be in my stead on the earth, And for a blessing in the midst of the children of men, And for the splendor of the whole seed of Shem.

18 For I know that YAHWEH will choose him to be a people for possession unto Himself, above all peoples that are upon the face of the earth.

19 And behold, Yitschaq my son loves Esau more than Yacob, but I see that you truly love Yacob.

20 Add still further to your kindness to him, And let your eyes be upon him in love; For he shall be a blessing unto us on the earth from henceforth unto all generations of the earth.

21 Let your hands be strong And let your heart rejoice in your son Yacob; For I have loved him far beyond all my sons. He shall be blessed forever, And his seed shall fill the whole earth.

22 If a man can number the sand of the earth, His seed also shall be numbered.

23 And all the blessings wherewith YAHWEH has blessed me and my seed shall belong to Yacob and his seed always.

24 And in his seed shall my name be blessed, and the name of my fathers, Shem, and Noab, and Enoch, and Mahalalel, and Enos, and Seth, and Adam.

25 And these shall serve To lay the foundations of the heaven, And to strengthen the earth, And to renew all the luminaries which are in the firmament. (Interesting wording here...renew all the luminaries...)

26 And he called Yacob before the eyes of Rebecca his mother, and kissed him, and blessed him, and said:

27 'Yacob, my beloved son, whom my soul loves, may YAHWEH bless you from above the firmament, and may He give you all the blessings wherewith He blessed Adam, and Enoch, and Noah, and Shem; and all the things of which He told me, and all the things which He promised to give me, may he cause to cleave to you and to your seed forever, according to the days of heaven above the earth.

28 And the Spirits of Mastema shall not rule over you or over your seed to turn you from YAHWEH, who is your Sovereign Ruler from henceforth forever.

29 And may YAHWEH ALMIGHTY be a father to you and you the first-born son, and to the people always.

30 Go in shalom, my son.' And they both went forth together from Abraham.

31 And Rebecca loved Yacob, with all her heart and with all her soul, very much more than Esau; but Yitschaq loved Esau much more than Yacob.

(I think it is crazy how the people in here admit openly that they love one child over the other. lol I can't imagine doing that. Now there are things that I like that one kid does over the other... like I think it's cool that my daughter is just the happiest kid ever. She is always smiling, and she always sees the best in people and she is really creative. My son is great at music, and he sings the best and he is hilarious. Both of my children are smart, and they both are kind and thoughtful. There really isn't any negative attributes for either other than they are both super loud. lol... but they are mostly just excited when they get that way, and it can easily be overlooked. But Rebecca, she is just like, nope... I love Isaac way more. Esau...no good. Isaac...great. lol  What do you guys think? Technically Esau was the first born, and we know how firstborns seem to get the bad rap a lot in the bible...but they usually always get the birthright since it is supposed to be theirs...but this one loses his birthright and his blessing...Jacob gets both.)

Genesis Part 8 : Isaac, An offering,

Hi, everyone, and welcome to 144Judah, where I am going through the entire KJV one book at a time and talking to you about what I see. In our last blog, we went through the start of Abram (Abraham) and Sarai (Sarah) and Hagar (the handmaid) and Lot (Abraham's nephew)... There were lots of...surprising things there. And today, we are continuing on. The last we heard was of Lot's daughters and new sons (Moab and Ben-ammi, and today we start at Genesis 20 with Abraham journeying toward the south.

So, here we go again with Abraham... I mean honestly, this guy needs to stop lying. He goes to the south country between Kadesh and Shur, and into Gerar. He, once again, says that his wife, Sarah, is his sister, this time the king (Abimelech) comes and gets her and takes her.

But, luckily for Sarah, God comes to Abimelech in a dream that night and said to him, "Behold, thou art but a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she is a man's wife. But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation? Said he not unto me, She is my sister? and she, even she herself said, He is my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her. Now therefore restore the man his wife; for he is a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore her not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that are thine." Genesis 20:3-7

Wait a minute here.... This is one of those things that drives me crazy. Why did God not punish Abraham the first time, and then he goes ahead and does this madness again, and says to this guy don't do this or I will kill all of you? I mean, the guy is right, he (Abraham) and his wife, did lie.

But this isn't about them...

So, since he didn't know he wasn't punished...but what about the Egyptians? Was there more to that story? Maybe this is a case of a hard heart like that of Pharaoh during the Exodus?

So, luckily, Abimelech, seems to be pretty smart and calls his servants and tells them what happened and they were all afraid. I mean, who wouldn't be? Don't mess with God. And Abimelech calls upon Abraham and asks what he has done to offend him. And in Genesis 20:9-18 "What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done. And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing? And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will slay me for my wife's sake. (This guy has a problem for sure) And yet indeed she is my sister; she is the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife. (Um... So, I'm really hoping that he means father as in God. But who knows at this point?) And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my father's house, that I said unto her, This is the kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He is my brother. (Okay, so every place... yikes) And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave them unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife. And Abimelech said, Behold, my land is before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee. And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand pieces of silver: behold, he is to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that are with thee, and with all other: thus she was reproved. So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants: and they bare children. (Wait a minute here? He was married, too? What is happening?) For the Lord had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abraham's wife."

Okay, So I looked to see if I missed something on Sarai's parentage but the lineage isn't there, but it does say that they are half-brother and sister per what Abraham said unless he means God is the father. If she is indeed his sister that is nasty and would explain why none of these women are having babies... very unnatural...yeowza. But God grants her a baby... Continue. lol

"And the Lord visited Sarah as he had said, and the Lord did unto Sarah as he had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac. And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him." Genesis 21:1-4

(At this time Abraham was 100)

What does Isaac's name mean? Genesis 21:6 "And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me." (It's funny because she is so old and having kids.)

So, a lot has happened now. Abram and Sarai are now Abraham and Sarah the father and mother of all nations that are to come out of Israel, and Abraham also has another son, Ishmael, from Hagar who will be the father of 12 princes, per the Angel of the Lord's word.  And now, after Isaac was weened from his mother, they had a huge feast, and Sarah saw the son of Hagar, (who is also the son of Abraham and the brother of Isaac) mocking. And she tells Abraham to cast out Hagar and his own son because she doesn't want Ishmael to be the heir to their kingdom. So, God tells Abrahm to not be angry because of Sarah's demands and to put trust in God because both of his sons will be taken care of.

"And also of the son of the bondwoman (Hagar) will I make a nation, because he is thy seed." Genesis 21:13(So, this is where the nation of Islam comes from...this line of Ishmael.)

So, the jealousy and anger of Sarah is maddening to me...especially since it was her little idea to mess around and get pregnant by the handmaid.

*Added note on 11/1/23, There was a lot of jealousy on Sarai's part and I just found out yesterday that Hagar would have been an Egyptian Princess. So, this makes a lot of sense. As she is the mother of Ishmael which is to be "The father of many Arab Nations". *

So, Abraham brings Hagar bread and water and sends her away and she goes into the wilderness of Beer-sheba. And she puts her child under one of the shrubs. And she was going to leave her kid there and she was crying to God... She didn't want to witness his death... I mean I get it, but...)

So, thankfully God hears... "And God heard the voice of the lad; and the Angel of God called to Hagar out of heaven, and said unto her, What aileth thee, Hagar? fear not; for God hath heard the voice of the lad where he is. Arise, lift up the lad, and hold him in thine hand; for I will make him a great nation. And God opened her eyes, and she saw a well of water; and she went, and filled the bottle with water, and gave the lad drink. And God was with the lad; and he grew, and dwelt in the wilderness, and became an archer.

*Fun fact! Hagar was the only person in the bible to name God. She named Him "El Roi" The God who sees me". * Added 11/1/23

*Another fun fact: The Ishmaelites are who Joseph, Israel's son in future chapters of Genesis, is sold to for 20 pieces of Silver by his own brethren. * 11/1/23

From Wikipedia: (I wanted you to see the lineage of the 12 princes that came from Abraham's first son, Ishmael)

After roaming the wilderness for some time, Ishmael and his mother settled in the Desert of Paran, where he became an expert in archery. Eventually, his mother found him a wife from the land of Egypt.[8] They had twelve sons each of whom became a tribal chief in one of the regions from Havilah to Shur (from Assyria to the border of Egypt).[9] His sons:[10]

  1. Nebaioth (נְבָיוֹת Nəḇāyōṯ)
  2. Kedar (קֵדָר Qēḏār), father of the Qedarites, a northern Arab tribe that controlled the area between the Persian Gulf and the Sinai Peninsula. According to tradition, he is the ancestor of the Quraysh tribe, and thus, ancestor of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.[11]
  3. Adbeel (אַדְבְּאֵל ʾAḏbəʾēl)
  4. Mibsam (מִבְשָֽׂם Mīḇsām)
  5. Mishma (מִשְׁמָע Mīšmāʿ)
  6. Dumah (דוּמָה Ḏūmā)
  7. Massa (מַשָּֽׂא Massāʾ)
  8. Hadad (חֲדַד Ḥăḏaḏ)
  9. Tema (תֵימָא Ṯēmāʾ)
  10. Jetur (יְטוּר Yəṭūr)
  11. Naphish (נָפִישׁ Nāfīš)
  12. Kedemah (קֵדְמָה Qēḏəmā)

Ishmael also had one known daughter, Mahalath or Basemath, the third wife of Esau.[12]

Ishmael appeared with Isaac at the burial of Abraham.[13] Ishmael died at the age of 137.[14]

Which brings us to Genesis 22... The Burnt Offering...

So, Abraham is talking to God, and God tells Abraham to take his (only) son, Isaac, whom he loves, to the land of Moriah, and to offer him there for a burnt offering upon one of the mountains where God wants him.

WHAT?

So, Abraham obliges.. Um... "Genesis 22:3-8 "And Abraham rose up early in the morning, and saddled his ass, and took two of his young men with him, and Isaac his son, and clave the wood for the burnt offering, and rose up, and went unto the place of which God had told him. 4 Then on the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes, and saw the place afar off. 5 And Abraham said unto his young men, Abide ye here with the ass; and I and the lad will go yonder and worship, and come again to you. 6 And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering, and laid it upon Isaac his son; and he took the fire in his hand, and a knife; and they went both of them together. 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together."

So, what in the world does this mean? Well, God told Abraham to go to the mountain that he chose and to bring his only son as a burnt offering, and Abraham did. When he got there, and Isaac asked where the lamb was that they would be sacrificing... Abraham said, "God will provide a lamb," but Isaac was that lamb... or at least that's what Abraham thought.

Um...

Genesis 22:9-18

"And they came to the place which God had told him of; and Abraham built an altar there, and laid the wood in order, and bound Isaac his son, and laid him  on the altar upon the wood. 10 And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son. 11 And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I. 12 And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not witheld thy son, thine only son from me. 12 And Abraham lifted up his eyes, and looked, and behold behind him a ram caught in a thicket by his horns: and Abraham went and took the ram, and offered him up for a burnt offering in the stead of his son. And Abraham called the name of that place Jehova-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it shall be seen. 15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time, 16 And said, By myself have I sworn , saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not witheld thy son, thine only son; 17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; 18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."

Well, that was a close one. So,what exactly does this mean? God not only provided the ram, but this was also referring to God's son, Yeshua! Remember how we said that God knew the end from the beginning? Well, this pretty much shows you just that.

John 19:17-27

17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was Jesus Of Nazareth The King Of The Jews.

20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which saith, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

So, what does this mean? It means that Abraham was obedient. He was willing to sacrifice what he loved most, his son, as an offering to God.

Can you imagine being as obedient as Abraham? Remember how we first judged Abraham with his relationship to his wife? God doesn't call the qualified, he qualifies the called! He can change any one of us. We are all sinners and fall short of the glory of God. I would just like to leave this right here with one last question...What would you sacrifice for God? Think about what Abraham did, and how he was blessed. God knows what is best for you, and that is HIM. Choose God first and always and HE will guide you in righteousness.

Thank you for reading today. May God Bless You ALWAYS!

God Unspoken! Episode One tonight on Rumble...

Hi!  This is Danelle (144Judah) and it has been a while since we last talked.  I'm sorry about that. Life has been super busy, not too ...
