Finally, we are to one of my favorite parts in "The Dead Sea Scrolls"... The Book of Enoch. The reason why I diverted from the Torah for a second is because Enoch is mentioned in Genesis. In fact, he is mentioned so fast that if you didn't pay attention, you probably wouldn't care. Who is this Enoch guy anyway?
Why does he deserve his own book separate from the main one?
Genesis 5:22-24 "And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him."
Whoa...what? Where did he go? Did he die?
Did he go to Heaven? no... John 3:13 Yeshua states, "and no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven."
Where did he go then? He was brought to the Garden of Eden.
Jubilees 4:23 "23 And he was taken from amongst the children of men, and we conducted him into the Garden of Eden in majesty and honor, and behold there he writes down the condemnation and judgment of the world, and all the wickedness of the children of men."
In The Book of Enoch Chapter 65 states that Enoch comes out of the Garden and talks to Noah. So, even though Noah is righteous, he still isn't permitted in Eden. The Garden is incorruptible... and is God's permanent Holy of Holies and Enoch is the High Priest there. Enoch is a scribe. (That means he is in charge of writing things down...he is a witness.)
If you use the book of Jubilees and The Book of Enoch "The Book of The Watchers" together it all makes so much more sense. Especially the explanations of God with Adam and Eve from earlier in Genesis. We will talk about the book of Jubilees later as it is important in determining times and seasons.
"Before these things Enoch was hidden, and no one of the children of men knew where he was hidden, and where he dwelt, and what had become of him. And his activities had to do with the Watchers, and his days were with the holy ones. And I, Enoch, was blessing the Lord of majesty and the King of the ages, and the Watchers called me - Enoch the scribe - and said to me, "Enoch, you scribe of righteousness, go declare to the Watchers of the heavens who have left the high Heaven, the holy perpetual place, and have defiled themselves with women, and have done as the children of earth do, and have taken wives to themselves: You have worked great destruction on the earth, and you will have no peace nor forgiveness of sin; and inasmuch as they delight themselves in their children, they will see the murder of their beloved ones, and they will lament over the destruction of their children, and will make supplication continuously; but you will not attain mercy and peace." Chapter 12 v 1-6 (The Book of the Watchers)
Who are the watchers? They were angels that were to watch over the humans on earth. What did they do? They saw the women and found them lovely and wanted them for themselves. In Enoch's book, he talks about how it all began...
The Book of the Watchers: Chapter 6 v 1-8
"And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born to them beautiful and attractive daughters. And the messengers, the children of the heavens, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another, "Come, let us choose wives for ourselves from among the children of men and beget children for ourselves." And Semjaza, who was their leader, said to them, "Indeed, I fear you will not agree to do this deed, and I alone will have to pay the penalty of a great sin."
So... clearly the 'angels' didn't learn much from Adam and Eve's mistakes... So, they were put in charge to watch over, then saw the women- decided that they liked what they saw, then made a pact with each other to all do it so they wouldn't be alone.... kind of sounds like what Eve did with the serpent before tricking Adam.
"And they all answered him and said, "Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing." Then they all swore together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations on it. And they were two hundred in all who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations on it."
Yikes... so clearly "Descended" means fallen. So these watchers were of Heaven, then made a pact and DESCENDED... Oh and Fun Fact... In The Apocrapha in The Life of Adam and Eve Chapter 19: "And I opened to him and he walked a little way, then turned and said to me, I have changed my mind and I will not give you to eat until you swear to me to give also to your husband. And I said, What sort of oath will I swear to you? Yet what I know, I say to you. By the throne of the Master, and by the cherubim and the Tree of Life! I will also give to my husband to eat. And when he had received the oath from me, he went and poured on the fruit the poison of his wickedness, which is lust, the root and beginning of every sin, and he bent the branch on the earth, and I took of the fruit and I ate." So LUST is the root... Not as the Catholic Church says "Pride" but Lust.
"And these are the names of their leaders: their leader Semjaza, and Araklba, Rameel, Kokablel, Tamlel, Ramlel, Danel, Ezeqeel, Baraqijal, Asael, Armaros, Batarel, Ananel, Zaqiel, Samsapeel, Satarel, Turel, Jomjael, and Sariel. These are their chiefs of tens."
Chapter 7 vs 1-6
"And all the others took wives to themselves together with them, and each chose one for himself, and they began to go in to them and to defile themselves with them, and they taught them charms and enchantments, and the cutting of roots, and made them acquainted with plants."
So, not only did they defile themselves with the humans, but they also taught them things that they weren't evolved enough to know, and they didn't have God's permission to do so. What do you think would happen with a group of people that weren't ready to know something? Hmm... doesn't WW2 ring a bell? Nuclear energy, right? When a society isn't ready for to understand, we make things worse... and guess what? The watchers made things infinitesimally worse, even for us today!
"And they became pregnant, and they bore great giants, whose height was three thousand ells, who consumed all the acquisitions of men."
Let me get this straight, not only did they take the men on earth's women, but they also ate all their food...
"And when men could no longer sustain them, the giants turned against them and devoured mankind. And they began to sin against birds, and beasts, and reptiles, and fish, and to devour one another's flesh, and drink the blood. Then the earth laid accusation against the lawless ones."
Greaaaatttt... So, now these 'giants' are eating the men, and doing disgusting abominable things to the animal kingdom.
Now what?
Well, according to Enoch Chapter 9, "And then Michael, Uriel, Raphael, and Gabriel (Archangels) looked down from Heaven and saw much blood being shed on the earth, and all lawlessness being worked on the earth. And they said to one another, "The earth made without inhabitant cries the voice of their crying up to the gates of Heaven." And now to you, the holy ones of Heaven, the souls of men make their suit, saying "Bring our cause before the Most High."
So, they do just that and God is not happy. In Chapter 10, "Then the Most High uttered, the Holy and Great One spoke, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him: "Go to Noah and tell him in My Name: Hide yourself! And reveal to him the end that is approaching, that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come on the whole earth and will destroy all that is on it. And now instruct him that he may escape, and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world."
So...this is why God all of a sudden decided to destroy His creation. Does it sound familiar to the times we are living in now?
People are making deals with the devil, they are committing atrocities every day, they are sinning against their own bodies, people are raping one another, hurting animals, men are sleeping with men, women are with women. Now do you understand Matthew 24:37?
"As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man." - Matthew 24:37
Where is Enoch today? Still in the Garden? Who is the only other person that didn't die but ascended to Heaven?
"2 Kings 2:11-12 "As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind. Elisha saw this and cried out, "My father! My father! The chariots and horsemen of Israel!" And Elisha saw him no more. Then he took hold of his own clothes and tore them apart."
Could they be the two witnesses in Revelation?

Last but not least... So we know that Enoch gave the info to Noah, and Noah survived the flood with his family and the animals, but what happened to the Watchers? The Fallen? The Nephilim?
God tells Raphael to "Bind Azazel hand and foot and cast him into the darkness, and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dudael, and cast him therein. And place rough and jagged rocks over him, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there forever, and cover his face that he may not see light. And on the Day of the Great Judgement he will be cast into the fire. And heal the earth which the messengers have corrupted, and proclaim the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azazel: to him ascribe all sin." And to Gabriel the Lord said, "Proceed against the bastards and the reprobates, and against the children of fornication, and destroy the children of the Watchers (Nephilim) from among men. Send them against one another that they may destroy each other in battle, for they will not have length of days. And no request that they make of you will be granted to their fathers on their behalf, for they hope to live a continuous life, and that each one of them will live five hundred years." And the Lord said to Michael, "Go, bind Semjaza and his associates who have united themselves with women so as to have defiled themselves with them in all their uncleanness. And when their sons have slain one another, and they have seen the destruction of their beloved ones, bind them fast for seventy generations in the valleys of the earth, until the day of their judgment and of their consummation, until the judgment that is forever and ever is consummated. In those days they will be led off to the abyss of fire, and to the torment and the prison in which they will be confined forever. And whoever will be condemned and destroyed will from then on be bound together to the end of all generations. And destroy all the spirits of the reprobate and the children of the Watchers, because they have wronged mankind. Destroy all wrong from the face of the earth and let every evil work come to an end; and let the plant of righteousness and truth appear: and it will prove a blessing; the works of righteousness and truth will be planted in truth and joy forevermore."
